Netkiller Barcode Scanner Update: Multiple Barcodes Recognition

Netkiller strives to satisfy customers to their best extent. Because of this mission, Netkiller Barcode Scanner is updated and now have the function of multiple barcodes recognition. With this function, customers submit two barcodes within one row on the Google Sheet that records inventory. This can be convenient in many cases.

For example, one of the use cases state that workers can use our scanner to store inventory items for automobile parts. When a part is taken out of a car and a new part is put into that car, he needs to record the part in and part out at the same time.

Using this case as an example to demonstrate the multiple barcodes recognition function, we first create an appropriate form through Netkiller Barcode scanner.

From the drop down menu, first add barcode and timestamp. Then select “Short Answer and change the title to First Item Name so that the automobile part can be identified. Then from the dropdown menu, select “Checkboxes.”

You can change the title to Status and add field options to be in and out so that you know which automobile part is taken out and which part is taken in. After this, select “Secondary Barcode” so you can scan the second barcode. Name it Second Barcode for an easier identification and less confusion on the Google Form.

Again, use “short answer” to create a field for the second item’s name. At last, use checkboxes to create a field for the status of the second item. The form is now complete, so select “Complete Edit and Update.” The form on mobile should look like this:

While the Google sheet that will be generated after completing the form should look like this:

With that click, a google form should be generated that will now respond to whatever you scan by using Netkiller Barcode Scanner! You can then click barcode symbol, next to secondary form field to scan second code. With this function, you can now record the parts in and parts out at the same time. So now scan with your mobile device!

The end result on Google Sheets should look something like this:
